St. Ignatius (Ohio) boys and Noblesville (Ind.) girls are living up to the preseason hype as both teams have rolled through the early part of the schedule to remain the top-ranked teams in the nation.
St. Ignatius routed Walsh Jesuit (Ohio) and St. Xavier (Ohio) to win the Jesuit Cup last week. Noblesville, meanwhile, has yet to allow a goal this season.

The highest-debuting teams in this, the first of the weekly rankings for the 2021 season, are Lyons (Ill.) boys and Lone Peak (Utah) girls. Lyons jumps in at No. 24 this week after taking down perennial state power Naperville North (Ill.). Lone Peak, meanwhile, checks in at No. 9 after stunning a pair of Top 15 teams early in the season.
