Owen Reyes, Midfielder, North Olmsted, Sr.
Reyes makes up one-half of one of Ohio’s top midfield combinations. Reyes is great at taking on defenders. He is very good on the ball and he can distribute the ball well. Reyes is an instinctive player. He makes excellent runs out of midfield, presenting himself as an option for a cross into the box. Reyes has put together some incredible numbers so far this year. He has accounted for 17 goals and five assists through just seven games. Reyes is a versatile player who can be difficult for opponents to deal with.

Rounding out North Olmsted’s dynamic midfield duo is Ryan Sanborn Ryan Sanborn F North Olmstead | 2022 OH . The senior is a very positive player. Like Reyes, he likes to go right at defenders. Both on the ball and off, Sanborn demonstrates a great work rate, something that is pivotal for a midfielder to be successful. Sanborn moves well and gets himself into great positions. He is a very good finisher. For the season, Sanborn has scored 12 goals in six games. Sanborn is capable of playing the facilitator role amicably. He has provided ten assists this year.
Sammy Tager, Forward, Chardon, Jr.
Tager has put together an exceptional season at Chardon. Through nine games, Tager has scored 12 goals. The junior has also supplied three assists this campaign. Tager is averaging a little over a goal per game. Even more impressive is the fact that Tager has found the back of the net in all but one game this year. He shows great consistency, making him a player that defenders will have to keep tabs on for the entirety of the match.
Alexander Diaz, Forward, Perrysburg, So.
Diaz is a creative and fun to watch forward. He showcases great footwork and he has the ability to beat multiple defenders. Diaz is very confident on the ball. He does well in tight spaces and keeps possession. So far this year, Diaz has tallied 10 goals to go along with four assists in 10 matches played. Diaz is the type of player who can provide a spark when the team needs it most.
Nathan Tager, Midfielder, Chardon, Sr.
The underlying theme of this article may be terrific tandems. The Tagers, Sammy and Nathan, lead the way for Chardon. Nathan Tager has piled up seven goals in six matches played. Tager has assisted on eight occasions this year. Back on August 19th, Tager recorded a hat trick against Euclid in Chardon’s 4-1 victory.
