Wisconsin Top Performers, Part 2
Here are some more names of the top performers in Wisconsin to start the season:
F Ben Grimm, Whitefish Bay, Sr.
Grimm has tallied nine goals and nine assists to start the season for Whitefish Bay. He recently has a huge Labor Day weekend with five goals and four assists at Port Washington, Muskego, and Arrowhead.
GK Nason Lancina, Whitefish Bay, Sr.
Lancina has done a tremendous job in net for the Dukes to start the season. Has only conceded two goals in seven games while already making 20 saves.
M Gabe Thistle, Brookfield Central, Sr.
Thistle has been on fire lately. This past weekend, he scored a hat trick against Muskego and added two more goals against Madison East. Thistle’s play has Brookfield Central off to a hot start.
F Beckham Blair, Waukesha West, Sr.
Despite playing fewer games than most teams, Blair has Waukesha West off to a very strong start. He scored a hat trick on Aug. 24 against St. Thomas More.
F Nick Magner, Marquette, Sr.
Nick Magner has kept the state’s best program at the top to start the season. He played a big role in Marquette’s 3-1 win last week against Brookfield Central by scoring twice.
D Sam Magner Sam Magner D Marquette | 2022 WI , Marquette, Sr.
Magner has been the key to Marquette’s defensive success to start the season. Although he isn’t an elite goal scorer, he’s been extremely productive with his playmaking, defending, and communication. Magner is one of the state’s top returning players from last season.
GK Evan Engel, De Pere, Sr
Engel has been very impressive for De Pere. Has three clean sheets in five games with an 0.80 goals-against average in those games. De Pere is 4-1 with their only loss coming against Madison West.
