Week 3 of the Wisconsin Boys State Playoffs concluded Thursday evening. Only eight teams from each division remain. Here are the top performers from the sectional semifinals. F/M Jack Bretzmann, New Berlin Eisenhower, Fr. Bretzmann Scored a hat trick in NBE’s 7-0 victory over Kettle Moraine Lutheran. This was the largest rd 3 victory in the state. Will face D3 power Shorewood in sectional final. D Luke Bokerman, New Berlin Eisenhower, So. Scored two goals, had three assists, and a clean sheet for the sophomore defender in Eisenhower's 7-0 victory. NBE might be a Division 3 powerhouse in the future. M Teig Driesen, Seymour, Sr. Scored both goals of Seymour's sectional semifinal win against Roncalli/Two Rivers, pushing his goal count to 42 this season. Seymour faces Green Bay Notre Dame in the sectional final Saturday. F/M [player_tooltip player_id="18461" first="James" last="Dorchester"], De Pere, So. Scored in the 55th minute against Hamilton for a 1-0 win in its Division 1 sectional semifinal. The No. 8 seed De Pere is becoming a Cinderella story and will face Green Bay Preble in the sectional final Saturday. F Ray Beilman, Elkhorn, So. Beilman has been nothing but terrific lately. He had a goal and assist in the Division 2 sectional semifinal against Baraboo on Thursday. Elkron will face top seed Oregon in the sectional final. M/F Rey Paniagua, Elkhorn, Fr. He is another freshman in the area who has flown under the radar recently. Paniagua scored and assisted for Elkhorn in the sectional semifinal Thursday. He has been responsible for at least two goals in each of Elkhorn's past five games. F Abraham Navarro, Green Bay Preble, Sr. Notched two goals and assist in a 3-0 upset win over Brookfield East. Navarro is a candidate for all-state this year. Preble will look to end De Pere’s cinderella story in the Division 1 sectional semifinal Saturday.
