All-America Watch List: Girls Additions

As noted during the original release of the PrepSoccer.net All-America Watch List, we would make periodic updates. Today, we add 10 more girls players. Now, not to be confused for the All-America Game, which the rosters were released last this week, this All-America Watch List is for the postseason honors that will be awarded by PrepSoccer.com. While only 24 of the players from the full list below will make first- or second-team All-America honors, many of the listed players will make one of the eight 11-player All-Region teams.
Today’s additions are:
<strong>F Olivia Collins, Gallatin (Mont.), Jr.</strong>
Despite having an undefeated, state title-winning team in its league, Collins won the Player of the Year honors. Her goal-scoring ability led this team to its first-ever state final. Collins had 14 goals, including the winner to send the team to the final.
<strong>M Cat Duffy-Shaw, Holy Angels (Minn.), Sr.</strong>
Duffy-Shaw was named Minnesota Miss Soccer for Class AA. She was part of a defensive-minded team that conceded only six goals all season. Duffy-Shaw had four goals and five assists from more of a defensive mid role as Holy Angels went 13-2-1.
<strong>F [player_tooltip player_id="30650" first="McKenna" last="Lehman"], Lakeville North (Minn.), Sr., St. Thomas</strong>
Lehman was a Class AAA Miss Soccer finalist, an honor won by North Carolina commit [player_tooltip player_id="30181" first="Maddie" last="Dahlien"]. Lehman scored a team-high 15 goals as Lakeville North went 15-3-1.
<strong>M [player_tooltip player_id="22339" first="Kennedy" last="Neighbors"], Evansville Memorial (Ind.), Jr., Indiana</strong>
Neighbors scored 25 goals and had more than 20 assists, leading Evansville Memorial to a 20-3-1 record and a Class AA state title. She received first-team all-state honors.
<strong>F [player_tooltip player_id="29393" first="Taylor" last="Rittman"], Eldorado (N.M.), Sr., New Mexico</strong>
Eldorado might not have had the season it had hope for, but Rittman delivered a strong showing. The senior New Mexico commit finished with 15 goals and nine assists for a playoff team that scored only 44 goals on the season.
<strong>F Savanah Sanchez, Hope Christian (N.M.), So.</strong>
Sanchez’s last two goals in a remarkable season helped Hope Christian avenge its only loss, beating Albuquerque Academy en route to a state final victory. Hope Christian upended St. Pius 2-1 in the state final. Sanchez scored 42 goals on the season and added 24 assists as Hope posted a 21-1 record.
<strong>M [player_tooltip player_id="22037" first="Samantha" last="Smith"], Boise (Idaho), So.</strong>
The younger sister of Stanford signee [player_tooltip player_id="33257" first="Logan" last="Smith"], this Smith is equally as talented. She was named to the 5A all-SIC squad after helping Boise to a state runner-up finish. [player_tooltip player_id="22037" first="Samantha" last="Smith"] was part of the first in-person U.S. Under-17 National Team camp, which was held last month.
<strong>D [player_tooltip player_id="31240" first="Emma" last="Spivey"], Notre Dame Academy (Ky.), Sr., Eastern Kentucky</strong>
Spivey was the anchor to a defense that recorded 25 shutouts en route to a 28-0-1 season. The Eastern Kentucky commit was named first team all-state. Shel also contributed four goals and four assists.
<strong>F [player_tooltip player_id="22373" first="Naomi" last="Splittorff"], F.J. Reitz (Ind.), Sr., Purdue</strong>
The Purdue commit scored 27 goals and added 12 assists while playing 14 matches this past fall. She earned all-state first-team honors and was the Evansville City Player of the Year.
<strong>F [player_tooltip player_id="23317" first="Kendall" last="Stadden"], Blaine (Minn.), Jr., Minnesota</strong>
The Minnesota commit was named to the Class AAA all-state first team. She led Blaine to a 12-5-1 season.
