Only 16 programs in the state of Wisconsin are still playing into November. All of which are now in the state championship series for their respective classes. Here’s a look at the top performances from the sectional finals (state quarterfinals).
M Mason Dierks, Oregon, Jr.
Dierks scored the opening goal for Oregon in the sectional final, and he came through when his team needed him in the PK shootout by scoring the game-winner to clinch the sectional crown
GK Omar Cendejas-Maldonado, Green Bay Notre Dame, Sr.
Cendejas-Maldonado tallied six saves and the clean sheet in Notre Dame’s 1-0 win over Seymour in their Division 3 sectional final.
GK Evan Engel, De Pere, Sr.
The Cinderella continues! Despite allowing two goals, Engel was nothing but outstanding for the Redbirds against Preble in the sectional final. A date with top overall seed Marquette awaits.

GK [player_tooltip player_id="30972" first="CJ" last="Deslongchamps"], Marquette, Jr.

GK Dominic Hill, Waukesha West, Jr.
Despite the losing effort, Hill’s 10 saves kept Waukesha West in the contest against Brookfield Central. He finished his season with a GAA of 1.76.
