Yuna McCormack Yuna McCormack M Tamalpais (CA) | 2023 State #6 Nation CA , Tamalpais, Junior, Midfield
McCormack is a top-class player and one of the top recruits (if not the top) in the North Coast Section. She was in the U.S. Women’s National Team pool when she was a U17 and now as a U20. She is committed to the University of Virginia. She does a great job creating space, breezing past defenders and she is terrific in tight areas. She is a great distributor, beats defenders with ease in the final third, and has a powerful shot from outside the box.
Rylie Stiglich, Liberty, Senior, Midfield/Forward
Stiglich can play in attacking positions all over the pitch. She is a talented goal-scorer, but an unselfish teammate who looks to set her teammates up. She’s a four-year varsity player, and was first-team all-Bay Valley Athletic league as a junior. She recently committed to Stanislaus State.
Lottie Dierks, Berkeley, Senior, Center Back
Dierks is a great leader for the Yellowjackets. She’s a big defender, standing at 6-1, and she is a battler. She is a player with soccer in her blood, as her brother played at Berkeley. She is a classic Berkeley center back who can help build play from the back.
Meka Doyle, Berkeley, Senior, Center Back/Outside Back
Doyle was part of the U15 and U16 US Women’s National Team pool and is now playing with her high school team for the first time. She is a player with great speed, and despite an unassuming demeanor she is not to be messed with on the pitch as she will take players on and challenge for balls in the air and 50/50 balls.
Shima Dixon Shima Dixon F CA , Berkeley, Junior, Attacking Midfield/Forward
Dixon, who plays for Mustang SC in the ECNL, is a goal scorer. She is dangerous with the ball, she’s tenacious and despite her diminutive stature, she’s not afraid to battle with bigger players.
Annaliese Giusto Annaliese Giusto M CA , Carondelet, Senior, Attacking Midfield
Giusto is a four-year varsity player for Carondelet. She is crazy fit, never looks tired, and never comes off the pitch. She is a dynamic player at both ends of the pitch and has a tremendous shot.
Lizzie Vranesh, Carondelet, Senior, Midfield
A four-year player who has been a stud since she was a freshman, Vranesh is given a lot of freedom with the Cougars. She has the ability to move about the pitch and put herself in positions to help the team and does so with fabulous athleticism and vision.
Bella DeMelo, Carondelet, Senior, Center Back
Another four-year player for the Cougars, DeMelo is the organizer in the back. She is a positive player who demonstrates follow through. She will never tell a teammate to do something she isn’t willing to do herself. She is a smaller defender, but fearless and wins balls in the air, and has a fantastic work rate and attitude.
Victoria Alessandrini Victoria Alessandrini M CA , Carondelet, Sophomore, Midfield
Alessandrini has improved a lot between her freshman and now sophomore season, working hard in the offseason. She is an unselfish player, one with great touch, who is great at taking people on. She has a very, very powerful shot as well.
Charlyse Berry Charlyse Berry F CA , Monte Vista, Senior, Forward
The University of Columbia commit is an excellent goal scorer for the Mustangs and is poised to have a big senior season because of her intelligence and her athleticism. She is a very creative player on the pitch.
Kaela Standish Kaela Standish M CA , Monte Vista, Senior, Midfield
Standish is heading to the University of Utah to continue her career and will demonstrate in her senior year why the Utes program wanted her. She is a very fast, powerful player who can score goals or set her teammates up to score.
