The majority of this match was played between the boxes and two PKs awarded to the Red Wolves were the difference. Here are some of the players that stood out in the match.
Keo Woods, FC Alliance
Woods was a presence throughout the match as his athleticism made him stand out on the pitch. He was able to anticipate passes and intercept the ball. Then he transitioned the ball well to the next level.
Omar Ardahaji, FC Alliance
Ardahaji played bravely on the wing and wasted no time in challenging 1v1 when given the opportunity. He also took set-pieces due to his quality of passing.
Ryan Fish Ryan Fish F TN , FC Alliance
Fish was solid in support from the CB position. He played a contain style when needed and then would aggressive to win the challenges and covered the wide areas in support, as well.
Christian Tapia, Chattanooga Red Wolves
Tapia controlled the midfield with his transitioning and was able to get 5 passes into the box. He took the set-pieces because was his quality passing and scored a goal on the first PK awarded to the CRWA.
Charles Carriglitto, Chattanooga Red Wolves
Carriglitto was the keeper for the first half and showed some skills as he parried away shots over the crossbar finishing with the clean sheet for his time in goal. He then became a field player for the second half and put pressure on the opponent’s backline. He also scored on the second PK awarded to the CRWA.
Jancel Flores, Chattanooga Red Wolves
Flores was very mobile and got open for passes showing his awareness of the field, made runs at the opponent’s backline, and created through ball options to his midfield. He scored the first of the team’s three goals for the day from about twenty yards out.
