The following are this past weekend’s Girls Academy league results from Minnesota clubs.
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>MN Eclipse</strong></span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Saturday 2/12 vs FC Evolution</strong></span>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">2007s: </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Three second-half goals led to the victory by MN Eclipse. Cora Kmiec had a goal and assist and won a free-kick that was put in by Lily Spurgin.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">2005s: </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Sienna Latta scored two goals and an assist and Kaeli Sterling had a goal and two assists with Izzy Olhman scoring, as well, in a 5-0 victory by the 05s. Sarah Martin and the defense limited Evolution FC to very few chances and secured the shutout.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">2003/2004s: </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Evolution FC’s goalkeeper stood out as MN Eclipse lost to Evolution FC on a late penalty kick despite a dominant second-half performance. Paige Ostroushko scored for Minnesota.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Sunday 2/13 vs FC United</strong></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">MN Eclipse rebounded well vs FC United creating multiple chances. Izzy Smith led the backline with [player_tooltip player_id="23323" first="Molly" last="Knoblauch"] commanding the center mid allowing [player_tooltip player_id="30650" first="McKenna" last="Lehman"], Angela Gutierrez, and Katelyn Beulke to create multiple chances. Minnesota finished with 22 shot attempts including a 9-4 shots on goal lead. MN Eclipse hit three posts and had one goal called back as the game finished 0-0.</span></p>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Salvo Soccer Club</strong></span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"><em><strong>Saturday 2/12 vs FC United</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">2003/2004s: 1-1 Draw - standouts - [player_tooltip player_id="23289" first="Brooklyn" last="Bordson"] - Consistent, Impactful.</span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;"><em><strong>Sunday 2/13 vs FC United
</strong></em></span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">2009s: 4-0 Win</span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">2007s: 7-0 Win - Standouts - Riley Lijewski with three goals and Eliza Cory who was very consistent the whole game.</span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">2006s: 7-0 Win - Standouts - Becca Smith with two goals and one assist, consistent attacking presence throughout the game. She was able to adjust quickly to playing new roles. Sydney Gilbertson with two goals. Fantastic movement off the ball that created the two goals and other chances. Maddy Barnick with two goals and was involved all over the pitch. She had an 80 percent passing accuracy with 53 attempted passes.</span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">2005s: 1-1 Draw - Standouts - Izzy Halunen scored the Salvo goal. Aydan Gagner (GK) played very well in goal.</span>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">2003/2004s: 2-1 Win - Standouts - Brooklyn Bordsen created plenty of chances. Cedar Jorgenson defended extremely well and created attacking momentum going forward.</span>
