Returning for their senior seasons in Indiana next fall are an outstanding group of strikers, capable of changing the game at any moment. These prolific goal-scorers are ready to light it up and grab the headlines in 2022. The Class of 2023 girls forwards can run up the score and give goalkeepers nightmares.

Buels has committed to the University of Missouri. Her play to this point in her career shows that she can make her mark in the SEC. Buels is currently the second-ranked player in the Class of 2023 and the highest-rated forward. Buels is a premier goal-scorer who constantly applies pressure and gives defenders problems. In her junior season, she tallied 29 goals and four assists. Buels is the kind of forward who will find ways to test the goalkeeper all game. She accounted for nearly 60 shots on target this past season.

Bamber does not just have the ability to score goals, but the ability to score highlight-reel goals. Bamber is fantastic with shots from distance. She strikes the ball well and with precision. Bamber does really well when on the ball. She has a good first touch, something that is essential in the final third. She does well in making runs that can stretch the defense. Bamber also is strong on free kicks. She can deliver a great cross or go for goal herself. On the year, Bamber found the back of the net 20 times to go along with a dozen assists.

[player_tooltip player_id="37260" first="Sydney" last="Couch"] was a crucial component of the Homestead team that captured a state championship. Next year, she will be called upon to play an even bigger role, and she has shown that she is ready for that responsibility. Couch scored 23 goals as a junior. She came up with some crucial goals in big moments during her team’s postseason run. Couch is a constant threat whenever the ball is at her feet. She helped one of the state’s premier attacking lines by adding 14 assists last year.
