Forward
Jayda Sutton, Golden Ball SA (Va.), CF: A dangerous finisher who is a technical striker of the ball. Uses her body well to shield off defenders on a break and has great composure to put the ball in the back of the net. Is a true 9.
Ellie Richards, DUSC NYC East (N.Y.), RF: She plays as a false 9 that will make good, wide runs up the wing to take on defenders 1v1. Has good control of the ball when going toward goal and has a good shot on goal.
Kelsey Spears, DUSC NYC East (N.Y.), F: She is a false 9 who is all over the field making runs and can get behind defenders with her explosive speed. Has good control and makes sharp cuts towards goal for good scoring opportunities.
Tracy Benitez, Millwall (Md.), RF: She is a very attack-minded winger who takes on defenders 1v1. Has good footwork and control to threaten goal.
Midfielder
Riya Campbell, Golden Ball SA (Va.), RMF: She has good speed to get forward on counter attacks to be an additional option and good recovery speed to slow down a defender. She has good control of the ball to turn and distribute to teammates.
Arianna Tanzy, Golden Ball SA (Va.), LMF: She defends well 1v1 and will also go forward on attacks. Has good recovery speed and uses her body well to defend off an opponent to create space.
Angelina Cadet, Golden Ball SA (Va.), CM: plays as a holding mid that has good control with the ball and is very patient. She reads the game well and uses great vision to begin transition or quick counter attacks.
Lecia McGeough, DUSC NYC East (N.Y.), LMF/LW: small but very aggressive attacking mid that covers a lot of ground. Will get back to help on defense and is good 1 v 1 defending.
Anna Yaegashi, DUSC NYC East (N.Y.), RMF/RW: tall and athletic that will defend well. Has good vision and control with the ball to find teammates in open space.
Sara Hollenbach, Millwall FC (Md.), CM: She is tall and athletic and is an attacking threat on the dribble or with a shot or pass. Is a playmaker that can create space and distributes the ball to teammates with crisp, hard passes.
Defenders
Abby Burnash, DSFC Genesee Rouge (Mich.), RCB: She is a small defender who is not afraid of anything. She makes very good tackles and has very good recovery speed. Burnash is the leader in the back, is very sharp on the ball and doesn’t play with the ball in the back. She just gets it up field and out of trouble.
Alani Kincaid, Golden Ball SA (Va.), RB: She is a tall, solid defender who tackles well and has nice footwork 1v1. Has good strength to make good, long throw-ins into the area.
