03/04s – def. CUP, 2-1; lost to Indy Premier, 5-1
McKenna Lehman McKenna Lehman M Lakeville North | 2022 MN , MN Eclipse – Lehman converted a penalty kick with less than five minutes remaining to help edge the national semifinalist Cincinnati United Premier. Paige Ostroushko scored the first goal on a strike just outside the box to get It started. Defenders Molly Knoblauch Molly Knoblauch M MN , Isabel Smith, Isabella Vannavong, Piper Hanley, and GK Emma Knack shut down an offensive attack that has scored over 31 goals in Mid-America Conference play so far this year. Lehman also scored the lone goal for MN Eclipse vs. Indy Premier SC on Sunday assisted by Emma Topp.
05s – lost to CUP, 3-1; lost to Indy Premier, 4-3
Sarah Martin, MN Eclipse, stood out in goal with multiple great saves in the second half vs. defending national champions Cincinnati United. Isabel Ohlman put Eclipse up 1-0 at halftime off an Ella White free-kick. Eclipse was unable to add to their lead in the second half and CUP took advantage of the wind to win the game 1-3.
Sunday’s game against Indy Premier was a wild back and forth game. Indy is currently in second place in the Mid America Conference. Ohlman added another two goals to her name along with Kaeli Sterling putting her shot into the upper corner. Eclipse was up 1-0, 2-1 and tied the game at 3-3 with under 10 minutes to play but Indy Premier scored with two minutes left to take the high scoring contest.
