The U.S. U15 Boys National Team heads to Italy next week for the 18th Torneo delle Nazioni. USA takes on Slovenia (April 25 at 11 am [ET]) and Belgium (April 27 at 12 pm [ET]). Both games are scheduled to be streamed.

The tournament in Europe has been the launching point for a number of U.S. prospects in the past as European clubs get a close look at the next wave of talent coming up through the national team pipeline. For U15 head coach Tom Heinneman, this is the second camp with him in charge of this age group. He called in three new players to this camp with goalkeeper Patryk Stechnij, defender Davi Alexandre, and forward Caden Glover.

Charlotte FC winger [player_tooltip player_id="14338" first="Nimfasha" last="Berchimas"] is the only player born in 2008 to make the roster for this tournament, the rest of the roster is players born in 2007. Santa Cruz Breakers defender Scott Chavira is the only non-MLS academy player on the roster.

PrepSoccer was able to scout many of the players during the last week in Dallas during the 2022 Generation adidas Cup.

F [player_tooltip player_id="14338" first="Nimfasha" last="Berchimas"], Charlotte FC - Berchimas is obviously the name that most will circle on this roster as the youngest player to make the squad. He is a winger who has impressed during this MLS Next season for his academy. Berchimas is capable of playing either right or left wing. He is good on the ball, but his best trait is running in space.

M [player_tooltip player_id="33304" first="Kyrome" last="Lumsden"], Los Angeles FC - Lumsden had an excellent GA Cup for LAFC. The center midfielder seems to love Dallas after he really announced his place among the best in the nation last year at Dallas Cup while playing with San Diego Surf. Lumsden’s first campaign in MLS Next has not always been perfect. He struggled with decision-making and forced too many passes in the attacking third during the MLS Next event in December. Last week, he showed growth in both areas of his game. He is still the type of midfielder who could take over the game at any point with his charging runs. He should have a prominent role of the YNT.

D [player_tooltip player_id="13008" first="Jeremiah" last="White"], New York Red Bulls - White is another player who impressed during the GA Cup. He played left back for the Red Bulls squad - fellow YNT teammate Davi Alexandre was the right center back on the team. White likes to get forward and join the attack at any opportunity. He is a willing dribbler that has skill on the ball. He could improve in his crossing and strength in the tackle.

F [player_tooltip player_id="17021" first="Zavier" last="Gozo"], Real Salt Lake - The RSL factory is alive and well. Gozo is among the players on this roster with the highest ceiling. He was outstanding for the Utah club during the GA Cup. An attacking talent with good technique and tactical understanding. Gozo is a unique talent with the athletic qualities to be a player quickly on the professional pathway.

Of note, there are a few players born in 2007 who were left off this roster that impressed while playing up two age groups during the GA Cup. Seattle Sounders [player_tooltip player_id="17850" first="Etienne" last="Veillard"] helped the club’s U17 team to the GA Cup Championship. He is going to be part of the picture in the future.
