He is a smart player who likes to compete. He was a key piece for LAFC during the Generation Adidas qualifiers in December. The LAFC defense only let in one goal in three games.
Bindon also showed off his aerial abilities with a goal off a corner kick as well. Bindon is a quality addition for the college level from the class of 2023, and the top player in the PrepSoccer player rankings for the class of 2023 for California.
Much of the class of 2023 is still undecided on their future plans. LAFC winger Alison Soukup has been a standout at the club level recently. He is one to watch for the future. He checks in at No. 2 on the list.
Stanford landed the commitment of Dylan Groeneveld Dylan Groeneveld D Coronado (CA) | 2023 State #96 Nation CA , an outside back from San Diego. Groeneveld plays his club ball for Albion SC in MLS Next. He played for the Capelli Sport USA team at the Capelli Cup in Denmark over the summer. He also earned an appearance in the NPSL for ASC San Diego. He looks ready to compete at the college level.
Ethan Kohler Ethan Kohler M State #87 Nation CA is another Stanford commit from California from the class of 2023. He is described as a center midfielder or a center back. His game projects better as a defensive midfielder for the Stanford system. He plays like a wily veteran. He is not going to impress with a highlight-reel play, but he makes winning plays, whether it is a tackle to stop an attack or a pass that opens up a playmaker into space. Kohler’s play at the youth level earned him a spot on the Earthquakes II squad in the MLS Next Pro.
