Plays on the left primarily but can also play right wing and stays wide but will find space in the center when the attack comes from the opposite side. Outstanding 1v1 ability and he has super quick feet and can get off a powerful shot with a defender tight on him. Fits in well as a starting freshman on a solid Warwick squad. Has scored seven goals in six games this season. Plays club for Golden Ball Soccer Academy.
FWD Wyatt Luttrell, Ocean Lakes, Class of 2022
His high school coach Dave Wiggins has nothing but high praise for Wyatt. “He is the calm, cool, and composed senior captain every coach hopes for,” Wiggins said. “He is the hardest worker on the team and will always take a moment to guide a younger teammate.” He is a powerful physical presence and has the technical ability to match. A dangerous striker but can also play anywhere on the field with his high soccer IQ. Plays center attacking mid for Virginia Rush Soccer Club and is committed to play at Cazenovia College in New York.
MF Amanuel Yoseph, Warwick, Class of 2022
He doesn’t overthink the game from the center attacking midfield position. Takes space when available but is quick to make the right pass when pressured. He has good vision in the center of the field to find players wide and to find open space. He also has the ability to score and has five goals in six games. Great attitude off the field and is a joy to interview. Plays left wing for his club team, Virginia Legacy 04.
MF Niko Panayiotou, Great Bridge, Class of 2025
Only a freshman, he is a cerebral player that defies his age and has taken a leadership role on his high school team. Outstanding technical ability and will attack any defender 1v1 and has great change of pace. Good transition when there is a change of possession. Capable of playing anywhere in the midfield or up top. Plays for Virginia Rush Soccer Club.
GK Jack DesRoches, Ocean Lakes, Class of 2022
One of the best keepers in Virginia, he has great size and is a physical presence in the goal. Great keeper instincts and knows when to come off his line. Excels at making the all-important second save. Has strong hands and will come out to snag crosses. A leader on the field, he inspires his teammates both in matches and on the training ground. Plays for Beach FC and is committed to George Mason University.
