Harrison boys, Valor Christian girls headline the FAB 50s
When Harrison (Ga.) completed a perfect season nearly two weeks ago, the Georgia power also locked down the 2022 spring boys FAB 50 No. 1 ranking.
Harrison’s position at the top keeps the FAB 50 spring boys title in Georgia, where it has resided since Dalton (Ga.) started the run in 2019. There was no FAB 50 ranking in 2020, and Dalton returned to the top of the rankings with an undefeated showing in 2021. The last non-Georgia No. 1 was Wando (S.C.), going back-to-back in 2017 and 2018.
Valor Christian (Colo.), meanwhile, is aiming to return the spring girls FAB 50 No. 1 final ranking to Colorado for the first time since 2018 when Grandview (Colo.) topped the charts. The girls race remains more wide open with South County (Va.) and No. 2 and Liberty North (Mo.) at No. 3. Liberty North flexed its muscle last week with a 4-0 win over a Lee’s Summit West (Mo.) which was ranked second in the state.
