The PrepSoccer Player of the Week for last week was the closest vote in the history of the award. Rebels SC goalkeeper Grace Miller Grace Miller null | GK Patrick Henry (CA) | 2024 CA was the worthy winner as the votes came down to the last minute.
Miller was a star in goal last week as her team upset the previous undefeated Slammers FC HB Koge in ECNL play. Miller followed up that performance with a shutout over Beach FC over the weekend. The former USYS National Championship Golden Gloves winner is one of the top goalkeepers from California in the class of 2024.
This week’s nominations for PrepSoccer Player of the Week include players from all over the country and all levels of the game. There is a star from the high school game, a standout forward in Boys ECNL, and some remarkable performances in the girls club game.

PrepSoccer Player of the Week: May 10
Micah Eldridge, FC Pride Elite 08 – Eldridge scored a hat trick against Rockford FC in a 3-1 win. The victory secured a spot in the ECNL National Playoffs for FC Pride, the first boys team from the Indiana club to qualify for these playoffs.
Savannah Hutchins Savannah Hutchins F CA , LAFC So Cal 06 – Hutchins scored a goal in both wins over the weekend for LAFC So Cal. She had a goal int he 3-1 win over So Cal Blues. Elaine Pimentel Elaine Pimentel M John Burroughs | 2024 State CA and Scarlette Druian Scarlette Druian F State CA also scored for LAFC So Cal. She scored a goal in the 2-0 win over Del Mar Sharks. Abigail Seawright Abigail Seawright D CA added the other goal against the Sharks. With the two victories, LAFC So Cal moved into the Champions League spot #35 with only three games left on the schedule. Forty-four teams make the Champions League playoffs this season so LAFC So Cal looks to be a comfortable position after the big six-point weekend.
Amelia Dominguez Amelia Dominguez null | F Bishop Amat (CA) | 2024 CA , Strikers FC 06 – Dominguez scored two goals in the 3-2 win over Utah Royals FC-AZ on Sunday. Isabella Salas Isabella Salas F CA also scored a goal for Strikers.
Bella Martinez Bella Martinez null | M State #127 Nation TX , FC Dallas 07 – Martinez scored four goals and had three assists in the win over Sting Royal on Saturday. Holly Storer Holly Storer null | F State #52 Nation TX scored two goals and had two assists. FC Dallas is riding a five-game unbeaten run into the game against Solar SC this weekend as the top two teams in the conference square off for the second time in under a month. FC Dallas beat Solar in the Dallas Cup championship in April behind a three-goal performance from Storer.
Brooke Brown, Barrington High School – After coming off a week of intense play during the Naperville Invitational with the game-winning goal vs. Naperville Central in the semifinals, Brown is heating up heading into sectional play of IHSA State Qualifying. She scored the opening goal within the first 26 seconds of the game vs. Wheeling on May 4 and added a header goal four minutes later. She had an assist and a goal vs. Buffalo Grove on May 6th.
