FC United (Chicago, Illinois) goalkeeper Luke Laramore was named the PrepSoccer Player of the Week for May 17. Laramore was a star for FC United during the MLS Next Flex in Maryland. He played all three games in goal while leading FC United to a group-winning performance. The 2024 recruit will be one to watch this summer as FC United competes for the MLS Next Cup in Texas in June.

Madison Shumate Madison Shumate F Downingtown East (PA) | 2024 State #63 Nation PA , Penn Fusion 05 ECNL – Shumate scored an amazing header from Emma Stankunas Emma Stankunas D Perkiomen Valley (PA) | 2023 State PA and set up another goal to Olivia Bradley in their 3-0 win versus Pipeline.
Ava McDonald Ava McDonald null | F State #11 Nation TX , FC Dallas/U.S. U16 Girls National Team – Playing for the U.S. U16 Girls National Team, McDonald scored two goals and had an assist in three games during the UEFA Development Tournament. USA went 3-0 at the end with wins over Norway (4-0), France (3-1), and Sweden (4-1).
Miles Pier, North Carolina FC 05 ECNL – Pier scored the third goal in a 3-2 win over Charlotte Independence on Sunday. Luke Heidinger and Aaron Gomez also scored for NCFC in the victory.
