As a soccer club, it just keeps getting better for the ever-growing and rapidly succeeding San Francisco Elite Academy. With what has been a great first half of 2022 for SFEA, the club received a feather in its cap recently when five boys were invited to the US Youth National Team talent ID camp.
Of the five players, four of them play for the 2007 team while the fifth plays on the 2008 team.

[player_tooltip player_id="47905" first="Misha" last="May"], Keeper, Class of 2026
May, the lone 2008 player of the five, is unique for his age as he does most of his work before shots happen. He gets off his line high up the pitch, in the box off crosses and closes angles in order to limit the number of opportunities he faces. He has strong hands as a shot stopper and is very good side-to-side when reacting. He’s such a good athlete that he would have made his club team as a No. 9 as well because he is very quick, has good instincts, is good 1v1 and can finish.
