Girls FAB 50 Top 10 undergoes overhaul this week
There’s no change at the top of the rankings with Harrison (Ga.) boys and South County (Va.) girls leading the way.
But the rest of the top 10 for girls was modified this week following playoff results around the country.
A loss by former No. 2 Liberty North (Mo.) allows last year’s FAB 50 champion Westminster Schools (Ga.) to move into the No. 2 spot. St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.) moves up to No. 3, with Grandview (Colo.) and Valor Christian (Colo.) rounding out the Top 5.
Triad (Ill.) and Gretna (Neb.) check in at Nos. 6 and 7 with three newcomers following to fill out the Top 10. First Colonial (Va.) is No. 8, Fort Zumwalt South (Mo.) jumps to No. 9 and Yorktown (Va.) is at No. 10. First Colonial and Yorktown’s only losses this year are to top-ranked South County.
The boys season is down to just Virginia teams playing, so there will not be too much movement in the upcoming rankings as the school year winds to a close.
