The PrepSoccer Player of the Week continues this week with a deep dive into the standout performances from the ECNL. The national league wrapped up the regular season over the weekend with many conferences in action as the final seeding for the post-season games in Seattle were still up for grabs for many teams.
The players nominated for this week’s PrepSoccer Player of the Week honor include those players who helped their teams earn a result from the final weekend of the regular season plus a standout from the ECNL National Event last week. Check out the nominees below and then vote in the poll at the bottom of the page.
Challenge SC’s Anaiyah Robinson was the PrepSoccer Player of the Week for May 31. Robinson scored two goals and had two assists during her team’s three games at the ECNL National Event in New Jersey.
PrepSoccer Player of the Week: June 7
Luke Heidinger, NCFC 05 – Heidinger scored a hat trick in the 6-1 win over Baltimore Celtic on Saturday. Blake Hird, Chase Gurgone, and Aaron Gomez also scored in the win over Baltimore. NCFC finished the regular season with a win over VDA on Sunday.
Jadin Anastasia Bonham Jadin Anastasia Bonham null | F St. Joseph Academy (OH) | 2024 #156 Nation OH , Internationals SC 06 – Bonham scored the lone goal off an assist from Ella Grade in a 1-0 win over Cleveland Force on Saturday. Internationals ended the ECNL regular season on an eight-game unbeaten run.
Morgan Goodman Morgan Goodman M Fayetteville-Manlius (NY) | 2024 NY , WNY Flash 06 – Goodman scored a goal in the 3-0 win over Pittsburgh Riverhounds. She finished the month of May with two goals and two assists during ECNL regular season games in the Ohio Valley Conference as Flash went 3-1 to finish third in the conference.
Sadie Wilkinson Sadie Wilkinson M MD , Maryland United 05 – Wilkinson scored a hat trick in Maryland’s 4-3 win over Connecticut FC during the ECNL National Event in New Jersey last weekend.
Isabelle Simoneau Isabelle Simoneau M NV , Heat FC 06 – Simoneau buried a free kick from 20 yards out to secure the 2-0 win over Del Mar Sharks in the last game of the ECNL regular season for Heat FC. Simoneau also contributed the assist on the other goal from Emma Rietz, as the captain finished the game with an assist and a goal in the victory.
