FORWARDS: [player_tooltip player_id='54407' first='Thomas' last='Angelone'] of Buckingham, Browne and Nichols is the lone junior on the Boston preseason 11. He is an explosive winger player whose 13 goals were among the best in the highly competitive ISL. ... [player_tooltip player_id='12102' first='Marco' last='Perugini'] of Medway scored 24 goals last year and was selected as the Tri-Valley League Small School MVP. He also garnered All-Scholastic honors from both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald. ... [player_tooltip player_id='54408' first='Ethan' last='Sullivan'] of Pembroke is an attacking player who can be found up top or in the midfield. He scored 15 goals and assisted on 14 last year while earning All-Scholastic honors in both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald. He also was named Patriot League Fisher MVP.

MIDFIELDERS: [player_tooltip player_id='54409' first='Ben' last='Brown'] at Concorde-Carlisle is among the more versatile athletes in the Boston area. He was an attacking player as a sophomore and a midfielder as a junior, but at 6-foot-5 might project as a defender if he chooses to play soccer at the next level. He's also a standout basketball player. Brown scored seven goals and added three assists in 2021 and was named to the Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic teams. ... [player_tooltip player_id='54410' first='Jake' last='McCabe'] of Canton netted 16 goals during a season where Canton made a surprise run to the Division 2 state final. ... [player_tooltip player_id='54411' first='Adam' last='Kuechler'] of Roxbury Latin was a second-team Class B All-NEPSAC pick in 2021. He had nine goals and nine assists. ... [player_tooltip player_id='50113' first='Liam' last='Rorke'] of Tabor Academy posted modest stats with four goals and four assists, but his play was noticed by league coaches as he earned Class A second-team All-NEPSAC honors last season.

DEFENDERS: [player_tooltip player_id='12016' first='Harrison' last='Bertos'] of Brooks School earned second-team Class B All-NEPSAC last season but is one of the nation's top defender prospects. He committed early to Washington. Last season he scored three goals and assisted on two others. [player_tooltip player_id='54412' first='Noah' last='Goldstein'] of Needham is a throw-back athlete, the rare three-sport participant on the high school level. Goldstein was named the Bay State Herget MVP as a junior while playing a defensive mid role at Needham, one of the top projected public school teams this fall. He had four goals and two assists en route to collecting All-Scholastic honors from both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald. Goldstein, who is 6-foot-3, also plays basketball and lacrosse. ... [player_tooltip player_id='54413' first='Isaldir' last='Fernandes'] of Brockton was a Boston Globe All-Scholastic honorable mention last season. He was among the standouts in a postseason all-star match.

GOALKEEPER: The Prep School leagues were loaded with senior standouts last year, but there was one junior keeper who earned the right to make this year's Boston Preseason 11 -- [player_tooltip player_id='12106' first='Mateo' last='Buyu'] of Milton Academy. Buyu, who plays club for Boston Bolts, sported a 0.85 GAA while helping Milton Academy to a 15-3-1 season in 2021.
