<p>This year, another stellar crop is led by commits to UCLA, Boston College and UConn, just to name a few. Boston programs figure significantly in both the FAB 50 and Prep Top 10 rankings. Last year, the Boston Preseason 11 was dominated by Buckingham Browne and Nichols (BB&N) players, but this year the talent is more spread out. </p>

<p><strong>FORWARDS:</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='22759' first='Sophie' last='Reale'] </strong>of Hingham is the top prospect in all of New England. The UCLA commit scored 27 goals and had 21 assists last season and even was named to the PrepSoccer.com All-America Team as a junior. Her projected return for a team that went 21-1-1 has Hingham as one of the national team favorites heading into the 2022 season. ... <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='55127' first='Taylor' last='Bovardi']</strong>, whose older sister plays at Sacred Heart, netted 13 goals and had eight assists in a breakout season at Masconomet last season. She was an Eastern Mass all-star and a first-team all-league pick. ... <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='26023' first='Isabella' last='Garces'] </strong>of Tabor Academy scored 12 goals in the regular season, the second-highest total in the girls powerhouse ISL. Tabor finished No. 3 in last year's Prep Top 10 and Garces' return is a reason Tabor has championship hopes in 2022. She has committed to Princeton. ... <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='22788' first='Annie' last='Renz'] </strong>of Milton Academy has committed to New Hampshire and is another of the ISL standouts. She scored seven goals during the regular season.</p>

<p><strong>MIDFIELDERS: [player_tooltip player_id='38322' first='Maddie' last='Landers']</strong> of Pingree School had 13 goals and 12 assists while leading Pingree to a NEPSAC Class B runner-up finish in 2021. She has committed to Boston College. She's a two-way player whose highlight was scoring a hat trick in the NEPSAC semifinals to send Pingree to the championship match. ... UConn commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='22966' first='Maya' last='Mathis'] </strong>scored 12 goals and added nine assists last season for perennial power Acton-Boxboro. She was the Dual County League Player of the Year. ... <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='33086' first='Krista' last='Murphy']</strong> is the next in a list of major-college midfield prospects in the Boston Preseason 11. She has committed to Indiana following a season where she earned second-team Boston Globe honors. ... The ultimate set-up midfielder is Buckingham Browne and Nichols senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='22878' first='Francesca' last='Valverde']</strong>. The Dartmouth commit, surrounded by superstars on a 21-0 BB&N squad, didn't need to score goals so she contributed 10 assists during the regular season.</p>

<p><strong>DEFENDERS:</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='22821' first='Caitlin' last='Mara'] </strong>was a key member of Buckingham Browne and Nichols' powerhouse 2021 team. She was part of a defense that allowed only two goals en route to a 21-0 season, a NEPSAC Prep A title and the Prep Top 10 No. 1 overall ranking. She even scored five goals, leading all NEPSAC defenders in offensive output. ... <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='38321' first='Avery' last='DePiero']</strong> of Pingree School anchored a defense that had 16 shutouts in 22 matches. She was an EIL and NEPSAC postseason honoree.</p>

<p><strong>GOALKEEPER: </strong>Although Noble and Greenough failed to make the playoffs last season, the lineup does feature a likely future college standout -- keeper <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='55126' first='Eliza' last='Teplow']</strong>. The Northeastern commit is making her second straight Boston Preseason 11 appearance. </p>
