U.S. U16 Women’s Youth National Team midfielder Addison Halpern Addison Halpern null | M Rutgers Prep (NJ) | 2025 State #8 Nation NJ is the No. 1 player in the PrepSoccer rankings for this class and one who will be highly ranked in the national ranking, which will be released in the coming weeks. Halpern had 45 goals and 29 assists in her freshman campaign, according to highschoolsports.nj.com. She followed up that stellar debut at the high school level with an outstanding club season. She was named the 2021-2022 ECNL North Atlantic Conference U16 Player of the Year. Club teammate Jordana DeNegri Jordana DeNegri null | F Randolph | 2025 State #62 Nation NJ is No. 2 in the rankings. Chelsea Leal Chelsea Leal M State #73 Nation NJ continues the theme of Youth National Team talent in New Jersey. The midfielder from STA has been on the USA radar for the past few years. She is a very skillful player who is one of the best on the ball in the Girls Academy. She has excellent ball control and a great first touch. She does well in navigating defenders in the center of the field and can play through pressure with ease and comfort. She is a good finisher and had a couple of breakout games in the GA last season. She can finish with either foot, but looks more adept on her right. She has been a dominant in the 07 age group for the last two years. It will be fascinating to see if she gets more opportunities to play against older competition during this upcoming club season.
Riley Cross Riley Cross M State #87 Nation NJ is a dominant player on the field. She is a midfielder who does it all. She can defend, distribute, and score. She is competitive too, and will take over the game. The PDA star had a stellar game against Legends at the ECNL National Playoffs Semifinal with a number of top college coaches in attendance. She is an obvious target from the class of 2025. Tall, skillful, smart, she has all the tools to be great at the next level and beyond.
It’s hard to say that Abby Incorvaia Abby Incorvaia null | F Waldwick | 2025 State #100 Nation NJ is under the radar when she is on an ECNL all-conference team and was part of the ECNL National Training Camp this summer, but it still feels like she is not at the level she deserves in the national landscape. She is a player that scouts love because she goes out there and competes. There is no shying away from a challenge or taking a play off from Incorvaia. She will go up against the biggest and strongest player on the other team, and she will either outsmart or outwork the opponent. She is similar to DeNegri in a few ways – good dribbler, quick, does well in pressing, and solid finisher around the box. The Match Fit forward created a lot of chances for herself during the ECNL season with sheer determination. She will be a 2025 that many scouts should watch this club season.
