Salt Lake City 2022 Preseason All-Metro Girls

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Salt Lake City is one of the more interesting recruiting hotspots for the simple reason that many of the state's Division I prospects simply stay close to home. It's not surprising to see almost all of the state's top players commit to BYU, Utah, Utah Valley and Weber State. In fact, all but two of the state's reported commits as of Aug. 10 are staying in state. Still, this is an area worth watching -- just in case some of these players are interested in leaving the area.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here's a glance at the high school players to watch this fall:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>FORWARDS: </strong>Bonneville features four early Division I commits and figure to be a factor in this year's 5A race. She netted 22 goals and added 10 assists last season en route to 5A first-team all-state honors. ... Syracuse returns <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='55052' first='Abby' last='Schofield']</strong>, who was a 6A first-team all-state player in 2021. Schofield had 10 goals and 13 assists. ...
