Caiden Bernstein got Beach on the board in the 30th minute after pouncing on a loose ball in the box and knocking it home from 10 yards out. The score remained 1-0 in Beach’s favor until the 70th minute when Richmond was awarded a penalty after a hard tackle in the box. Steven Rivas Carrillo stepped to the spot and calmly finished to square the match at one apiece. With only a few minutes remaining, Beach was awarded a corner and made it count as Bernstein sent a ball into the box where keeper Colby Macomber knocked it away, but it fell to Cameron Talbert who chested in home from close range.
