Sadie is true elite end line to end line player who started on the left side as a wing back. Played numerous balls into space that her forwards were able to run onto in a dangerous position. Scored two goals, first in the 30th min with a banger from 25 yards out, then again in the 88th to seal the win for her team. Possesses superb fitness. A leader on the pitch, she represents the captain’s armband with pride.
Avery Spell
Avery Spell
Avery is the unquestioned leader of her squad and is a passionate and vocal captain who leads by example. Very technically sound, has no issue being the key player to build out of the back. A very good physically fit 1 v 1 defender. Avery was also a starter as a sophomore on her Kellam high school team which advanced to the Virginia class 6 state championship game.
Kennedy is a true number nine and plays both with her back to goal and facing goal. Does an outstanding job checking back into open space. Once is possession, has a quick turn and looks to beat her defender 1 v 1 and go to goal. Can handle physical defenders and has good speed off the ball. Comes ready to play and scored less than a minute after the break by out hustling a defender in the box and scoring from close range to put her side up 2-0.
Audrey is a gifted forward who will challenge any defender 1 v 1 with a confidence rarely seen. A superb dribbler and shooter, her technical ability is sensational. Scored Beach’s first goal by beating her defender wide on the dribble, then cut inside and unleashed a rocket from distance. As a freshman, she led the Southeastern District (VA) in scoring with 30 goals and helped her Great Bridge team to 12-4-1 record, their first winning season in recent memory. The only freshman selected to the 2022 Virginia class 4 All-State and All-Tidewater teams.
Highlights
Zoe is a talented player who can contribute in both the midfield and back line. Started and played a full 90 minutes at center back on turf on hot day and never slowed down. Technically and tactically sound, always seemed to make the right decisions with ball at her feet. Not afraid to get into the final third when the opportunity presented itself, she scored the go-ahead goal in the 70th minute.

Alyssa started in the midfield as a sophomore on her Kellam high school team which advanced to the Virginia class 6 state championship game.
