Some of the teams also played games on Friday or Saturday but the Sunday games were the main event in a showcase that attracted dozens of college scouts.
Games were played simultaneously on three fields from 9 a.m. to 5. Here is a list of players that stood out from the games I was able to catch throughout the day.
Ishmael Mensah

, Jr., Midfielder, South Kent
Mensah is a smooth playmaking attacker with a great first touch and technical skill. He helped lead South Kent to a 4-2 win over Northwood and was a constant threat in the final third.
Arturo Pena Fulcar, Soph., Midfielder, Berkshire School
Fulcar’s size and strength were both on full display in a tight 1-0 win over Springside Chestnut Hill. His coverage in the middle of the park limited the SCH attack.
Antonio Rosario, Jr., Defender, Life Center Academy
A towering 6-foot-4 center back, Rosario was able to use his size to dominant defensively in a 2-0 win over Scotland School. Early in the match I lost count of the number of aerials won and clearances.
Ben Feinstein, Sr., Midfielder, Kiski School
The crafty midfielder had a goal and an assist in an entertaining 5-2 win over Williston Northampton and also had a brace and an assist in a 7-3 win over Westtown the day before.
Nate Zimmerman, Sr., Midfielder, Delbarton School
Zimmerman was a danger off the ball, making runs through the middle against Putnam Science. He assisted the first goal on a free kick and scored the winner before halftime on a strong run and finish in the box.
Giovanni Anicetto, So., Midfielder, Putnam Science Academy
Anicetto scored an incredible goal from distance in a 3-1 loss to Delbarton. It’s a goal you’ll want to rewatch a few times.
Jesus de la Torre, Sr., Defender, Woodstock Academy
De la Torre scored the game-winner with a crafty run forward and finish in the box to top Seton Hall and cap a successful weekend that include a close win over Shipley School.

, Sr., Midfielder, South Kent
Isttambouli had a lovely free kick goal in a 4-2 win by South Kent Prep over Northwood.
Drew Roskos, Jr., Midfielder, Delran
Roskos is a live wire who is quick with and without the ball and who sees the game on another level. Though he was somewhat contained by a tough Georgetown Prep defense, he was involved in the lone goal and multiple waves of attacks that bent but didn’t ultimately break Georgetown’s defense in a 1-1 draw.

, Sr., Midfielder, Seton Hall Prep
The senior midfielder is a rock in the middle of the park for Seton Hall and was very involved on both sides of the field in a tough 3-2 loss to Woodstock Academy.
Neil Riener, So., Forward, Pingry School
Riener gave the Episcopal Academy defense trouble down the right flank with his pace and strength. His perfect cross off one of those runs set up an easy tap-in for the third goal.
Brian Manon, Jr., Defender, Woodstock Academy
Knocking off Seton Hall was no easy task for Woodstock Academy but one of the ways they were able to do it was the play of their defenders. Manon had a big test trying Seton Hall’s big No. 9 Eddie Kruspki in check and he passed it.
Ryan White, Sr., Defender/Midfielder, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy
Berkshire School was a tough match-up for Springside but they answered the challenge well throughout in a tight 1-0 loss. White was one of the standouts in that effort to limit a vibrant Berkshire attack.
Will Thygeson, Sr., Forward, Christian Brothers Academy
Thygeson had a productive day for CBA in a 4-1 win over Gil St. Bernard’s, chipping in a goal and a pair of assists to lead the line.
