As other sports like football are getting ready for the start of their season with upcoming Friday night games. Winter/spring sports are getting an extra edge having the first part of the semester being off-season, which in return allows teams and individual players to fine-tune their personal skills that they bring to the team, and allows the team to adjust to new players, new formations and even new coaches. With all these exciting new starts happening these top four female players have surely left an impression for the 22-23 season to come. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Starting off with<strong>:</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><mark style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-primary-color">#1 Nicole Morales: </mark></strong> A senior at Bel Air High School in El Paso TX, who plays midfield/ forward in the 21-22 season, going 10-4 in district, ranking the team #226 in the state of Texas, and #82 out 5A school rankings (in Texas). Nicole had an impressive record with 166points, in her 26 games played she notched in 69 goals and 28 assists. Giving her an average of 2.7 goals per game, an 1.1 assists per game. Not only did her 21-22 season show how much of an impact she is on the field she also earned the "winter Player if the Week" on the week of February 18th 2022. (United Soccer Player) </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><mark style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-primary-color">#2 Natalia Garcia</mark></strong>: A junior at Del Valle High School in El Paso TX, who plays midfield/forward in the 21-22 season, going 13-1 in district, ranking the team #178 in the state of Texas, and #64 out of 5A school rankings (in Texas) Natalia ended the 21-22 season with a total of 143points, in her 17 games played she showed to be a vital component of Del Valle's offense scoring 61 goals, and 21 assists. Giving her an average of 3.6 goals per game, and 1.2 assists per game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><mark style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-primary-color">#3 Danyella Wheeless:</mark></strong> A junior at Lake Belton High School in Temple TX, in the 21-22 season her team went undefeated in district play with a 14-0 record, ranking them at #86 in the state of Texas, and the top #4 in 4A school ranking (in Texas). Danyella placed a total of 120points in the 21-22 season, with an undefeated district play in her 26 games played she recorded 50 goals/ and 20 assists, giving her an average of 1.9 goals per game and .8 assists per game. Clearly showing what an offensive impact she makes on the field. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><mark style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-primary-color">[player_tooltip player_id='26354' first='Samantha' last='Rodriguez']:</mark></strong> A senior at Adamson High School in Dallas TX, who Played as a defender in the 21-22 season, her team went 11-3-2 in district play, ranking the team #324 in the state of Texas, and #118 out of 5A school rankings (in Texas). Samantha ended her 21-22 season with a total of 112 points. In her 26 games played. She netted a total of 43 goals, and tallied 26 assists giving her an impressive game average of 2.2 goals per game, and 1.3 assists per game. Not only did Samantha have an offensive threat as a defender she also earned well-deserved awards for her impressive play, including awards such as: 20-21 season player of the year, Jan 22, Feb 26th Mar 6,15 player of the game (2021), and Jan 15,22, Mar 8th player of the game (2022). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
