Hayfield has verbally committed to playing college soccer next season at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. At 6’5″ he is an imposing figure for any attacker looking to go into the box. He has excellent timing. in terms of both when he meets an an opponent in a one-on-one situation and when his teammates need time to organize late in the game. That he can make acrobatic saves is certainly an advantage; but his technical skills in between the posts makes him a very solid pickup for the Mariners.
Peter Beil
Peter Beil
Beil has committed to playing college soccer next season at Old Dominion University. With ASA, Beil has been used as both as a wingback and forward and has really thrived in both positions. He is instrumental in the sides transition from a defensive posture to an attacking one, linking up with the defenders by closely trapping crosses and passes from the outside then quickly finding the club’s attackers with pinpoint service. What’s also remarkable is his speed, considering he just came back from a broken tibia earlier this year. His movements off the ball often forces defenders to scramble setting up attacking plays nicely for Arlington.
Andrew Jung
Andrew Jung
Jung has verbally committed to playing college soccer next season at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. The Chantilly High School senior makes solid runs off of the ball and can find space to exploit in between multiple defenders. He is also possesses a strong vertical leap, making him an excellent option for set pieces and crosses into the box. He is a strong forward and physically can handle the rigors of playing up top by himself. But his passes are also crisp and on point, making him excellent option for a 4-4-2 formation as well.
Grant Farrill
Grant Farrill
Farrill has verbally committed to playing college soccer next season at Bellarmine University. As an outside back, Farrill possesses excellent and great timing in terms of deciding when to go on the attack or stay back in defense. He has a strong left foot and can deliver excellent crosses into the box for his teammates. At Potomac, he has also played a bit as a defensive midfield giving the Knights some flexibility next season.
Nana-Sinkam has committed to playing college soccer next season at Holy Cross. The Class of 2023 midfielder is an expert marker in the midfielder and uses his strength and speed to slow down attacking plays. He is also excellent at set up chances on the other side of the pitch, finding his teammates on both the left and right flank. Sinkam was a member of the ECNL’s 2020-2021 All Mid-Atlantic Conference First Team and has previously played for D.C. United and Richmond United.
Moises Ochoa
Moises Ochoa
Ochoa has verbally committed to playing college soccer next season at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He is a left-footed forward that can find space on the outside and exploit. He has a solid first touch, which gives him the ability to really drive at defenders. His passing has also really been on point this season or Arlington, giving them an excellent attacking option down the left side.
