Beach was able to score off of set pieces in each half on goals by Carter Goetz and Kristo Litchmore to secure an important three points. Beach FC currently sits forth in the table at 4-1-1 and NCFC comes in at 1-3-0 after the loss.
Luke Jones
Luke Jones
Luke is a physical keeper who owns the box. Has strong hands and is able to punch out balls in traffic. Good positioning and instincts when to come off his line. Has combined with Brady Miller to post four clean sheets in six matches. Made six quality saves in the first half and had good communications with his back line.
Jackson is an outstanding center back who controls the center of the pitch. Very comfortable starting the attack playing out of the back. Hit numerous direct diagonal balls into space allowing his wingers to run onto them in the final third. Very good 1 v 1 defender.
Aldo Pena-Felipe
Aldo Pena-Felipe
Aldo is a dangerous center attacking midfielder who has a quick turn and can quickly get off shots in tight spaces. Great dribbler who looks to take on defenders without fear. Moves well off the ball and provides options for teammates. Unlucky not to score with the Beach keepers coming up with some big saves.
Cameron Talbert
Cameron Talbert
Cameron has a calming presence on the back line where he has combined with fellow center back John Maggio to lead his team to four clean sheets in six matches. Very good in the air and has the athleticism to mark both fast and physical forwards. Great communication with his keepers and other defenders.
Diego Herrera
Diego Herrera
Diego is a speedy outside mid who is a threat every time he touches the ball. Great transition on change of possession. Outstanding 1 v 1 skills in the attack, has quick feet and step to the outside which enables him to beat defenders wide in the midfield and final third.
Brady Miller
Brady Miller
Brady combines with Luke Jones to provide Beach FC with outstanding keeper play in which they rotate halves of each match. Very comfortable with the ball at his feet, he makes smart decisions when to possess in the back or play quality long balls up the pitch. Outstanding reflexes and quick to get off the ground for the second save.
