Steren has committed to playing at Emory University next season. With Armour, he has been comfortable at playing both midfield and forward showing a willingness to both create chances for his teammates and shots for himself. His passing and vision have helped the Armour attack this season, finding space for his teammates by simply making short passes to the outside.
Heintz has committed to college next season at Bucknell University. This is actually his second spell at Armour, returning to the club after previously playing the last two seasons at D.C. United Academy. He is a very disciplined defensive player that gives his opponents very little space to create shots or passes in dangerous territory. He is also unafraid to go in and make a difficult challenge. Heintz has previously been called up to the USYNT team at the U14 level.
Cowlishaw has committed to playing college soccer at Virginia Commonwealth University. The 5’10” midfielder likes to drive directly at defenders then use his pinpoint passing skills to open up chances for his teammates. He can also make precise runs off of the ball and find space between defenders to exploit. In terms of his shots, he posses the ability to hit with both speed and force and seems to have a pretty strong understanding of when either is required.
Hormozi has committed playing college soccer at Princeton University starting in the Fall of 2023. At both midfield and forward he is incredibly fast and has an excellent first touch that causes real problems for defenders. His ability to read defenses, find the weak link, and exploit it have made him one of the top attacking players in the region for years. His accuracy on his shot has also improved throughout his high school career, making him an excellent asset for Bethesda in their MLS Next Cup drive and for the Tigers next season.
Fields, who plays midfield for SYC Springfield in MLS Next, has verbally committed to playing college soccer at George Mason University. As a #10, Fields likes to go directly at defenders and can both build chances for himself and his teammates on the fly. He also possesses a strong motor, willing to do whatever it takes to finish the play and put his team in the best position to win. Those skills along with his work on set pieces should help George Mason improve upon what has been a tough 2022 campaign.
Bhalla has verbally committed to playing college soccer in the fall of 2023 at Longwood University. At 6’4″, he is a real asset for Arlington on set pieces and for crosses into the box. But what makes him difficult to break down is that while he is tall and physical, he also has a bit of speed and can break past defenders on the dribble. His accuracy, both in terms of heading and with the ball at his feet, is generally sound and he can at times act as a holding forward.
