Continue ReadingIn a showdown of mid-table sides, Beach FC (2-1-1) hosted Loudoun Soccer (3-2-0) in Virginia Beach over the weekend. Loudoun struck first with an early goal by Tyler Shin Tyler Shin F VA , but Beach FC found the net twice in a three-minute span on late goals by Isaiah Chisolm Isaiah Chisolm M #95 Nation MD and Wyatt Wetzler to come away with a 2-1 victory and a much needed three points. Loudoun currently sits 6th at 1.80 ppg, while Beach comes in a spot behind in 7th at 1.75 ppg.
Isaiah is a powerful and technically gifted forward. Back in Hampton Roads to finish his prep career after playing for both the Columbus Crew and D.C. United Academy teams, Isaiah is a huge gain for Beach FC. He moves well off the ball and is a threat to score in the box or from distance any time he is in possession. Scored in the 67th minute by making a near post run and finishing from close range off an assist from Derek Sapone.
Diego is an excellent center back capable of defending different styles of forwards. Versus Beach FC had the task of marking both a quick shifty forward and a physically imposing one. Strong 1 v 1 defender who was up to the task for 90 minutes. Enjoys having the ball at his feet, will take the space given to him to start the attack up the middle of the pitch. Selected to the All-Mid-Atlantic 2nd team for the 2021-2022 campaign.

Hamilton is the leader on the back line for Beach FC. Great communicator who is cool under pressure and has no problem with the ball at his feet. Capable of playing quality direct long balls or knocking it around the back to his fellow defenders or keeper. Uses his height well to produce an outstanding aerial game. Selected to the All-Tidewater team after his junior year at Kellam high school. Recently committed to attend the College of William and Mary.
Tyler was one the most dangerous attackers on the pitch. Put Loudoun on the board inside of 10 minutes by beating a defender and the keeper to a loose ball and finishing easily. Outstanding technical ability, he plays with confidence with both feet at speed. Uses his speed and quickness to take on defenders to the outside and then whip crosses in. Served up quality balls on numerous free kicks and corners. Committed to attend Babson College.

Kaden Sawyer Class of 2023 Soccer Highlights (Jr. Season 2022) – YouTubernKaden is an all-purpose center midfielder who plays box-to-box. Outstanding 1 v 1 defender in space. Dangerous in the attacking end, can both take on defenders and distribute quality balls forward. Took the majority of set pieces for his side and consistently served up dangerous balls. Looks comfortable wide or in the center of the pitch.
Nathan is an outstanding attacking midfielder who plays wide but is most dangerous when he dribbles into the middle and draws defenders. He was the best dribbler on the pitch. Has an uncanny ability to keep the ball in crowded spaces where he can either distribute or get off a powerful and accurate shot. Selected to the All-Mid-Atlantic 1st team for the 2021-2022 campaign.
