The player rankings is a difficult process and every player in the rankings earned their spot with consistency at the highest level of the youth game. Some of them are players on championship teams now and others are players with high potential to be in the game for a long time.
Below is a breakdown of a five players in the PrepSoccer National Rankings for the Class of 2025.
Delfin was named to the Southeast Conference First Team for her play in the ECNL last season. The center back is a dominant presence on the field as she can shutdown the opposition with her expert positioning and strength in tackles. She is a weapon in the attack as well as she has shown her quality in aerial duels off set pieces to score goals.
Manley is a defender who plays up an age group at the Girls Academy level. She is an outside back, right, who loves to run up and down the touchline. She deliverers a great cross on the run and consistently hits the backpost with her service. Manley was a top prospect in the 06 age group last season so it’s obvious why she is rated highly in the national rankings for the 2025 class.
