National Signing Day is here for the Class of 2023. Nov. 9 is the first day that players can sign letter of intent with their future schools. The celebrated day provides student-athletes with the opportunity to be recognized for many years of hard work in the classroom and on the field in pursuit of continuing both their education and their playing days.

TSJ FC Virginia – Signing Day 2023
TSJ FC Virginia, a national leader in developing players for college soccer, announced 17 student-athletes have signed to play soccer at top Division I programs for next season.

Texas A&M lands No. 1 prospect in Florida
Grace Ivey, the No. 36 recruit in the country according to PrepSoccer Rankings, made it official on Wednesday morning that she is joining Texas A&M. Ivey is key part of the top 15 ranked recruiting class for the Aggies.
Duke adds Defenders
A new name to the Duke recruiting class signed on Wednesday. Sam Bodensteiner, a defender from Sockers FC (Illinois), signed her letter of intent to join the No. 4 ranked recruiting class from 2023.
Let’s Make It Official
Austin Peay’s staff is on top of things early on Wednesday with the first official announcement of their 2023 class. Haley Lindquist, from FC United (Illinois), is the first official signing for the Austin Peay class.
Arkansas is set to announce a large recruiting class for 2023. FC Dallas’ Avery Wren Avery Wren D Plano West (TX) | 2023 State #170 Nation TX is the first official announced recruit for the Razorbacks.
Washington State University announced the addition of ECNL Player of the Year Reagan Kotschau to the 2023 signing class. The Cougs have already officially announced three players to the No. 24 ranked recruiting class.
International Party
While most of the focus is on U.S.-based players signing today, there are some key additions that come found elsewhere in the world. East Carolina announced the addition of Lucy Fazackerley to the squad for 2023.
Auburn Gets a High Five
Auburn is adding five players to the 2023 roster with top 60 recruit Jessica Osborne headlining the list. Osborne is the first commit that the program announced on Wednesday.
Sweet 17
International SC (Ohio) announced 17 players will be signing letters of intent this evening to play soccer at the collegiate level. It’s quite the group for the ECNL club. Noticeably absent from the list is Mia Bhuta, the midfielder from the U.S. U17 Women’s National Team and Stanford-bound commit. Bhuta graduated in 2022 so she is enrolling in Stanford early and not included in the 2023 class for Internationals.
Exports from Georgia
Not to be outdone, United Futbol Academy (UFA) has 19 players signing their National Letters of Intent later today. The remarkable part of the large recruiting class is the destinations for the players with schools from all over the country on the list: Santa Clara, Washington State, Michigan, Arkansas, Florida State, and so on.
Tulsa Two-Step
The men’s programs are notoriously slower to announce recruiting classes, but Tulsa has been on top of it today. The AAC squad announced the addition of Bowen McCloud Bowen McCloud M TX , a prospect from FC Dallas. McCloud is a highly regarded center midfielder who previously played for Chicago Fire Academy/Chicago Fire II. Tulsa also announced the addition of Will Applegate, the 2022 Gatorade State Player of the Year for Oklahoma.
Wildcats Reload
Arizona announced the addition of Shanti Weddington Shanti Weddington null | F Timberview (TX) | 2023 State #37 Nation TX , the No. 37 recruit in the country from the class of 2023, to the official class on Wednesday. Ella Weathersby was the other announced signing for Arizona. There is an expectation that this 2023 class will contribute immediately for Arizona.
Michigan State inks 10-player class on National Signing Day
The Michigan State Spartans announced a 10-player class on National Signing Day, including two players from Canada. The Spartans class was previously ranked as a Top 25 class for 2023 thanks to standouts Ava Boyd and Isabella Najera. Head coach Jeff Hosler is excited to get this group on campus.

Stanford lands No. 1 recruit
Alyssa Thompson made her commitment to Stanford official on Wednesday as she signed with the Cardinal at her high school, Harvard-Westlake in Southern California. Thompson made her debut with the US Women’s National Team in October as a 17-year-old. There are high expectations for the dynamic winger who is the No. 1 recruit in the country in the class of 2023.
UVA gets top five talent in Georgia
Aniyah Collier signed her Letter of Intent to Virginia on Wednesday. Collier is a top talent from the state of Georgia. She joins the highly ranked Virginia 2023 recruiting class.
Luck of the Irish
Notre Dame has been announcing the 2023 signing class on twitter today. So far, Nate Zimmerman, Sean McDowd, and Nico Bartlett have signed with the Irish. McDowd is the top ranked player in the class, according to the PrepSoccer National Rankings. The Notre Dame class was No. 16 in the nation heading into Signing Day.
Marquette adds three on Signing Day
Marquette announced three new additions on Signing Day. Nico Pendleton Nico Pendleton M Mill Valley | 2023 #94 Nation KS is the top rated prospect of the group. The Sporting Kansas City prospect recently starred for his high school, Mill Valley. He led them to their first Kansas 6A State Title. The Marquette coaching staff expects him to contribute immediately at the next level.

Dream Realized
For many, Wednesday is the realization of a life-long dream. For a select few, it’s a life-long dream that only had one destination. Jackson Herbert is one of those lucky few. He grew up as a fan of the Akron Zips. When he was eight years old, he was one of those youngsters selected to walk out to the field before kick-off. A decade later, Herbert signed with Akron. From lifelong fan to leading the next generation, Herbert is one of the best stories of the day on Wednesday.
Purdue adds Mexico Youth National Team player
Lauren Omholt Lauren Omholt D McKinney Boyd (TX) | 2023 State #169 Nation TX , DKSC, signed with Purdue on Wednesday. She is a top 15 prospect in Texas and was a member of the Mexico U17 World Cup squad this year. She is a key part of the Purdue recruiting class and likely an early contributor for the program.
