Top Kentucky prospect signs with Wake Forest

<p>Senior defender [player_tooltip player_id='11542' first='Travis' last='Smith'] from Manual High School in Louisville has signed with Wake Forest. </p>

<p>Smith led Manual to the 7th region semifinals this past season with 18 goals and nine assists. Smith will also represent Kentucky in the All-America Game on Dec. 10, in Florida.</p>

<p>Smith was also a 1st team All-State member this season. The senior has spent time training with Louisville City FC as well.</p>

<p>"I look forward to playing at a top program in the nation, with the best conference in the nation," he said. "Wake is a perfect situation for me and my academic and athletic goals."</p>

<p>Wake Forest is currently 14-5 on the season. </p>
