The Class of 2023 just put a bow on their high school careers, and for many, their on-field performances were gifts for their teams. Many of the state's top players in the Class remain unsigned. Today, we will be taking a look at who some of the premier payers that are still available. These prospects are ready to make an impact at the next level.

Kaylie Farmer, Defender, Center Grove

[player_tooltip player_id='22336' first='Kayli' last='Farmer'] only appeared in seven matches this past season, but she was influential in all of those games, and her entire resume is impressive. In her junior year, Farmer played nearly 1,000 minutes, demonstrating that she can be a constant in the back line. She can also score goals. She registered five in 2021 to go along with three assists. Each of her first three seasons saw her log over 900 minutes of playing time. [player_tooltip player_id='22336' first='Kayli' last='Farmer'] can lead a team's defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='22228' first='Aubree' last='Empie'], Goalkeeper, Carmel

It is great to have solid defenders, but when the back line does not stop an attack you need a reliable goalkeeper. That is exactly what Carmel has had with [player_tooltip player_id='22228' first='Aubree' last='Empie']. Empie led Carmel to a Class 3A State Championship Game appearance a season ago. In 2022, Empie appeared in 23 matches. Across those 23, she only conceded seven goals while making 65 saves. Only average, she conceded less than half a goal per match. Empie has the potential to be a starter early in her career at the next level. As a senior at Carmel, she posted nine clean sheets for the Greyhounds and saved one penalty kick.

Emily Carr, Midfielder, Center Grove

Emily Carr is an outstanding midfielder who can lock things down in the engine room of the team. In the final season of her high school career, Carr topped 1,000 minutes of playing time. She can provide an attacking presence as well. This season, Carr registered a baker's dozen of goals plus a trio of assists. Proving that she can make an early impact, Carr racked up over 1,000 minutes in each of her four high school seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='37260' first='Sydney' last='Couch'], Forward, Homestead

Couch is a versatile attacker who can play both forward and midfielder. In her senior year, Couch logged 20 appearances. She found the back of the net on 15 occasions while assisting on another eight goals. She can put the opposing defense under consistent pressure. She fired 127 shots last year and scored the game winner four times. Couch could add a new dimension to a forward line.

[player_tooltip player_id='22310' first='Grace' last='Bamber'], Forward, Chesterton

Any team looking for a forward to light up the scoreboard, should look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='22310' first='Grace' last='Bamber']. Throughout her high school career, she was consistently finding the back of the net. Bamber only played nine games this past season, but she still managed to score 12 goals and record six assists. For her Chesterton career, she totaled 54 goals. Bamber could be a major contributor early in her collegiate career.

[player_tooltip player_id='37261' first='Ella' last='Frick'], Forward, St. Joseph

[player_tooltip player_id='37261' first='Ella' last='Frick'] can lead the forward line, but she can also drop back and line up as a midfielder. That versatility could help her see more playing time and contribute earlier at the next level. Frick played 18 games for St. Joseph this past year, and she made her mark in those games. 20 goals, 16 assists and four game winners indicate that she finished her high school career in a big way. Scouts need to take a look at [player_tooltip player_id='37261' first='Ella' last='Frick'].
