Despite having just four teams, two of those teams made the NCS playoffs and those teams should be right in the mix again.
Bay School
Bay finished third in the league and had four underclassmen make first or second-team all-league. They will return seniors Vivianna Linne and Kelsey Otridge, who made the first-team as well as two juniors in Ella Randall and Leila Eshaghpour-Silberman who were second-teamers as sophomore a year ago. Junior Eleanor Ludwig was honorable mention last season as a sophomore.
Drew
The Dragons finished in second behind International, and had the league’s co-MVP in senior Danielle Ho. Chemnui Simpson, a first-team all-league performer as a freshman last season, also returns.
Gateway
Gateway graduated three first-team selections and six all-league players combined, and will need to replace that experience. The Gators will turn to the underclassmen from last season to try and improve on their fourth place finish.
International
The Jaguars are coming off a very good season that saw them win 12 games, winning the BCL and reach the North Coast Section Division IV playoffs. And there is optimism for another fine season as they return co-league MVP Isabelle Bernal. Bernal is a central midfielder who is a fierce competitor. Bernal, a junior, does not stop hustling, and she is not afraid of contact which means she will be there to challenge every ball in the midfield. On top of being very hard-working, she is very skilled.
International also returns senior midfielder, and captain, Viviane Divol. She is a leader on the pitch and she shows great vision from the midfield. Her most important trait may be that she builds camaraderie amongst the team, as evidenced by her epic Taylor Swift sing-a-longs on bus rides to away games.
