Julius Rigo Julius Rigo F Collegium Charter | 2025 PA had two goals and an assist and Chase Esser had a goal and an assist to lead Penn Fusion. Dylan Lasik added an assist off a corner kick.
FC Delco’s No. 3 scored off a set piece from No. 16 and Joseph Kennedy Jr. added a penalty kick goal as time expired. FC Delco defender Jayson Bentum was under a lot of pressure and put out a number of fires in the back to keep FC Delco in the game. Goalkeeper Mason Levine Mason Levine GK PA also made a couple big saves against a Penn Fusion team that had more of the ball on the day.
Penn Fusion’s back line in front of keeper Evan Chappell Evan Chappell GK PA was tough to break down with Srivishnu Reddy Srivishnu Reddy D PA and Sawyer Spiegel Sawyer Spiegel D PA at the center back spots, Vincent Uglow at left back and Liam Kolbay Liam Kolbay D PA at right back.
Will Van Beelen was active in the midfield for FC Delco and had some bright moments combining with Kaden Bono Kaden Bono F PA while Kennedy did a lot of work on the defensive side and Yuehan Yang showed bite winning the ball in the middle of the field. While Rigo and Esser were the clear stars on the day going forward for the hosts, Lasik, Christopher Nascimento and Drew Yusko also made positive contributions to the attack.
Penn Fusion will host their last game of 2022 against FC Bucks Dominion at 1 p.m. on Sunday at USTC. FC Delco heads into the break with three losses and a draw.
