Emily Lenhard
Emily Lenhard
Lenhard has verbally committed to playing college soccer in 2024 at the University of Maryland-College Park. A lightning quick center attacking midfielder, Lenhard will bring plenty of attacking talent to the Terrapins. Especially on crosses and long balls into the box, she can take even the tightest of windows and turn them into excellent attacking chances. On the counter-attack, she makes excellent diagonal runs and can find her teammates from long distances.
Shoots has committed to playing college soccer next season at San Diego. Shoots switches between midfield and defense for both her club side Pipeline and her high school Crofton. She is an excellent passer and can always find space to help start a possession or on the counter-attack. In defense, she uses her strength and speed to force attackers out wide and into long-distance positions. In the Maryland State 3A Championship, her steadying presence helped Crofton secure the 1-0 win.
Steck has committed to playing college soccer next season at East Carolina University. The lockdown defender is coming off an excellent high school season for John Carroll, in which she led to the top of the table in the IAMM Conference and was named to the All-Conference (IAMM is one of the top private school conferences in the Washington D.C.-Metro area). She makes excellent reads off of first touches from her opponents and gives them very little room to either make a pass or drive towards goal. She can also box out opponents expertly on dangerous balls that go towards the corners.
Lavin has committed to playing college soccer next season at Memphis. She has an interesting story in that she has not only been called up to the USYNT at the U17 level but she has also trained with the Washington Spirit and is a two-sport athlete, having also played lacrosse in high school. All of those different experiences has made a very polished midfielder and an excellent leader for her high school North Harford and her club side Pipeline. In the midfield for both sides she takes charge of their organization and moving the team from a defensive posture to an attacking one. She provides excellent service into the box for her teammates and has been known from time to time to take a cracking shot.
Maddy Hall
Maddy Hall
Hall has committed to playing college soccer next season at Towson University. A tall center-back that can knockdown balls into the box as well as make timely clears, Hall has been a linchpin of the Pipeline defense for a number. She can make expert reads on attackers and very rarely gives them any space to exploit head on. She is also very comfortable having the ball at her feet and can make precise passes to her teammates on the outside very little issue.
Payton Todd
Payton Todd
Joining Hall at Towson University will be her Pipeline SC teammate Payton Todd, who has also committed to the Tigers for the 2023 fall season. One of the top goalscorers in the Maryland area for both Pipeline and her high school side Bel Air, Todd will bring an immediate spark either in the starting XI or off of the bench for Towson, who at times last season struggled with their scoring depth. She can create her own chances and can also at times act as a holding forward which should help open up play for her teammates.
