<p>As promised, the California State rankings are here for the girls side, and it is a way more varied grouping of teams than on the boys side. Every single section is recognized in the first rankings, however the Southern Section dominates the top. Six of the top seven spots go to Southern Section teams and seven of the first nine.</p>

<p>Four unbeaten teams make up the top four with Santa Margarita claiming the top spot followed by Santiago of Corona. San Ramon Valley from Danville is unbeaten and untied in its first 10 matches and checks in at No. 3 with San Juan Hills at No. 4.</p>

<p>The next pod of three teams are Southern Section teams with Huntington Beach, Millikan and San Clemente making up 5-7, then we see the first Central Coast Section team with San Francisco's St. Ignatius at No. 8.</p>

<p>Westview is San Diego's representative, checking in at No. 11 with Woodcreek of Roseville being the highest Sac-Jaoquin representative. Redwood of Visalia and Liberty of Bakersfield represent the Central Section, coming in at 19 and 20. </p>

<p>Branson, from Ross in Marin County, is the smallest school in the rankings, as the unbeaten Bulls are at No. 23. Pleasant Valley of Chico is the lone team from the Northern Section, ranking at No. 25.</p>
