LAKEWOOD RANCH, Florida - The ECNL National Event from Florida featured a number of the top prospects in the country from the junior class. While some of them have made verbal commitments, there were plenty of uncommitted talents on display. Below is a list of the players from the 2024 class who stood out from the games that PrepSoccer saw at the event.

PrepSoccer's ECNL Florida Standouts 2024s

Allison Souers, Florida Premier 06 - Souers is an electric player with the ball at her feet, and is very dangerous when close to goal. Her pace allows her to get into space and win the ball when she needs to.

Alina St George, FC Stars White 06 - St. George only saw a few touches on the ball, but she created a major chance for the team. Seems to be one of the more technical players on the wing and along with that has great speed. She was very dangerous in a 1 v 1 situation.

Gabriela Bazan, Tulsa SC 06 - Bazan constantly has her head on a swivel. She is very good getting the ball out of her feet. Plays very fast and is an intelligent mind in the midfield

Nora Elder, Michigan Hawks 06 - Elder is a cool, calm, and collected, fullback. When being pressured, she slows down and makes the right pass and is also very good going forward, scoring in the first half. Has also been a rock defensively out on the wing.

Aaryn Gabriel, NC Fusion 06 - A crafty player on the outside who loves to dribble straight to the goal and take players on 1 v 1. Also very good at stretching the field in terms of staying out wide and letting teammates create in the middle but can also play the 9.

Alexandria Weatherspoon, Concorde Fire Premier 06 A center back who's good with the ball at her feet and is already thinking about the next pass before she gets the ball. Likes to find her teammates feet in dangerous areas to create quick counters.

[player_tooltip player_id='23214' first='Natalia' last='Leavens'], Michigan Hawks Magic 06 - Had a great run in the midfield and skipped past three or four defenders which led to a shot and spill from the keeper that her teammate capitalized on. Great at carrying the ball forward and gliding past defenders, also is very comfortable and composed with the ball at her feet. She is great at getting her head up and switching the field of play and find open teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='23138' first='Helena' last='McLellan'], Michigan Hawks Magic 06 - A high alert midfielder who is always looking to find the space. She is the focal point of the midfield and her knowledge for the game gives her an advantage as well as her ability to keep the ball in her control in tight spaces. She is also a great distributor of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='23166' first='Kelsey' last='Ware'], Michigan Hawks Magic 06- Came on and scored off a corner with a great reaction finish. Got up and over everyone else and was the first to meet the ball

[player_tooltip player_id='23074' first='Ava' last='Roy'], Michigan Hawks Magic 06- Very skilled dribbler of the ball out wide and uses her body well to misdirect players. Scored a gem of a goal from outside the 18 after beating three players. Right into the top corner side netting.

Madeline Stoddard, UFA 06- A tenacious forward whose speed and innate striker instinct makes her one of the most dangerous players when the ball is at her feet and when it isn't. She is a rapid dribbler who can maneuver in most situations and makes electric runs while the defense is caught sleeping.

Katie Callaway, UFA 06- Attacking midfielder with a lot of finesse and swagger on the ball. Never looks rattled in possession and has an eye to play that key pass into the final third and usually delivers at a high level.

Riley DeMartino, Bethesda 06- A midfielder who comes up and down constantly and is good on both sides of the ball. A sound defender who is patient and doesn't dive in recklessly and going forward provides great service and a viable option in the middle. Has the spark for the team all day.

Presley Freeman, UFA 06 - A dominant full back going forward. Has a great touch and is very quick going forward. She has a knack to find the ball in advanced positions and doesn't waste chances when she gets them. She can also handle herself off the dribble as well. On top of that she's constantly surveying the field

[player_tooltip player_id='21060' first='Carolyn' last='Johnson'], Florida Elite 06 - Took a power shot from distance that the keeper should've maybe done better with but credit to Johnson for putting it on frame with some venom behind the effort.

Avery Maltese, Loudoun 06 - Maltese scored a good goal off the corner, ball came to her bouncing unexpectedly and she did a great job to react and get a foot on it.

Hope VanTuyle, Loudoun 06 - VanTuyle is an extremely creative number 9, she constantly goes deep to pick up the ball and roams all around the attacking third. Her dribbling ability and the way she wiggles in and out of tight spaces is not something you see often in strikers.

[player_tooltip player_id='21015' first='Audrey' last='Johnson'], Florida Elite 06 - Johnson saved a penalty kick to start the second half and she leads the team with her voice all the way from the back. Also, she isn't afraid to go up for any ball.
