Another week, and another grouping of outstanding plays from girls around the North Coast Section. Here are some girls that stood out last week.

Colette Boyden, Redwood, Junior, Defensive Midfielder

Boyden is very good on the ball, is a great passer and has a lot of range which as a No. 6 allows her to switch play very quickly. She has a high soccer IQ and is very competitive. She is a huge part of the Giants success. She had two assists as Redwood grabbed seven points from three fixtures last week.

[player_tooltip player_id='82892' first='Grace' last='Charles'], Campolindo, Freshman, Forward

Charles is a freshman phenom and the Cougars are enjoying having her on the varsity team. She is so smooth on the ball, very strong in 1v1 situations, she has a quick first step and is lethal in front of goal. She had a game-winning goal against Northgate last week and a game-winning assist against Clayton Valley.

[player_tooltip player_id='37580' first='Stella' last='Espinasse'], Tamalpais, Senior, Defensive Midfielder

Espinasse is just a stud. She is committed to Middlebury, plays on the Marin FC ECNL 05 Blue team, is a captain for Tam and has soccer running through her veins. She has family that played professionally and her freshman sister plays for Tam. She is a technically and tactically gifted midfielder. She routinely covers the most ground in a match, giving maximum effort when on the pitch. She reads the game well and has great vision, makes great passes and works hard to get the ball back when not in possession. She trains as hard as she plays, leading by example. And though by the nature of her position she doesn't rack up the counting stats, she had a goal and assist last week.

Sicily Grasso, San Marin, Sophomore, Forward

Grasso scored twice for the Mustangs last week, including picking up the match-winner in an important contest with Marin Catholic. She has good pace, and she has a thirst for scoring goals.

Tessa Miller, Archie Williams, Junior, Defender

The Falcons had two shutouts last week and Miller anchored the defense. She is a very dynamic defender as she is very good at distributing out of the back, she reads the game well and has good speed to go with a really great attitude.

Suhani Singh, Northgate, Senior, Forward

Singh is a dynamic forward and was up to her old tricks again last week, putting up a goal and an assist during the week. She is a player that can score as well as set up her teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='20043' first='Paige' last='Thompson'], Las Lomas, Sophomore, Defensive Midfielder

Thompson continues to impress as the technically gifted midfielder who boasts great vision, calm and poise in the No. 6 spot had a goal and an assist in a win over Clayton Valley as her Las Lomas team is getting better at the right time.
