Colette Boyden, Redwood, Junior, Defensive Midfielder
Boyden is very good on the ball, is a great passer and has a lot of range which as a No. 6 allows her to switch play very quickly. She has a high soccer IQ and is very competitive. She is a huge part of the Giants success. She had two assists as Redwood grabbed seven points from three fixtures last week.

Stella Espinasse Stella Espinasse M Tamalpais | 2023 CA , Tamalpais, Senior, Defensive Midfielder

She has family that played professionally and her freshman sister plays for Tam. She is a technically and tactically gifted midfielder. She routinely covers the most ground in a match, giving maximum effort when on the pitch. She reads the game well and has great vision, makes great passes and works hard to get the ball back when not in possession. She trains as hard as she plays, leading by example. And though by the nature of her position she doesn’t rack up the counting stats, she had a goal and assist last week.
