Minnesota’s Top Emerging Talent to Watch for in 2023

It's not her incredible speed, fearless game play, or soccer IQ that keeps you wanting to see more from her though. Her ability to turn up the energy on the field is infectious. The moment McCabe steps into play, you see a different game from all the players that surround her. She carries the ball through the middle with finesse. It's not uncommon to see her work through 2, 3, even 4 players at a time. Where she really shined this past season was her assists. She isn't one to become frazzled, or pull the trigger too early. She takes her space on the field and finishes with a rocket to the back of the net. My favorite attribute Senden possesses is a strong left foot, giving her the ability to take quality shots from nearly any angle. She doesn't stumble across her multiple scoring opportunities by accident though. Her movement off the ball is precise and methodical. It becomes very apparent seeing her first touch on the ball. Not only was she an 8th grader playing Varsity this past fall, she managed to score twice! It's safe to say that Ferguson has no fear in that area. She is a versatile player who can seamlessly shift her mindset between offensive and defensive. Not only is she solid on defense, she is a crucial part of the attack. She carries the ball and distributes it with great vision. It is very clear that she is seeing the play unfold before it happens.
