But keep scrolling. So many teams in the Top 15 had losses or draws, to the point where it was hard to move anyone up. Figuring out what to do was difficult this week.
GIRLS
The top three teams stay put. Branson and Redwood slide up one spot to round out the top five. Then the fun begins. Despite a loss to Carondelet, Amador Valley moves to No. 6. This is because every single team in the top 15 except for Marin Academy had a draw or a loss, and the Dons came off beating unbeaten San Ramon Valley to beat Monte Vista.
Monte Vista continues to be a hard team to figure out and the Mustangs are now at No. 7 after a loss and a draw. Acalanes is back in the rankings, jumping to No. 9 after a perfect week. Campolindo is back in the top 15.

BOYS
The top four didn’t change, but then it gets complicated. Redwood moves into the top five while Dougherty Valley jumps three spots to No. 6 after three wins. After that, everyone either lost or drew.
Newark Memorial jumps into the rankings, doing so on quite a streak and after beating top ten ranked James Logan. Logan does stay in the top 10, just head of a De La Salle team it beat last month. Castro Valley moves up a spot, while Liberty stays in the rankings despite a loss, because of a win over Pittsburg. That loss for Pittsburg drops the Pirates to No. 15.
San Rafael is back in the rankings at No. 13 as the MCAL teams continue to beat up on each other.
