The Trinity League may be the toughest league in California. Three of the seven teams in the league are ranked in the top 20 in the State of California in Servite, JSerra Catholic and Orange Lutheran, and the Friars and Lions are ranked as the top two teams in California.

Needless to say, there are a lot of really good players in the Trinity League, and here are a handful for fans to keep their eyes on.

Xavier Alcantar, Orange Lutheran, Junior, Central Midfielder

Alcantar is the motor in the midfield for the Lancers. He distributes the ball well, leading the team in assists. He controls the game by displaying excellent vision during the run of play, and has a lethally pinpoint delivery on set pieces.

[player_tooltip player_id='8056' first='Keenai' last='Braun'], JSerra Catholic, Senior Central Defender

Braun is an absolute rock for the Lions. He is incredibly solid for the No. 2 team in the state as he anchors the defense. On top of his ability to lock down attacking players, he is a general in the back, leading the way. He's also committed to UC San Diego.

Ryan Burritt, Santa Margarita Catholic, Senior, Defensive Midfielder

Burritt is a player we will be seeing in college. He has a number of offers in hand, but hasn't committed just yet. He has outstanding technical skill, a high soccer IQ and is athletic and coachable.

Sidney Dina, JSerra Catholic, Senior, Midfielder

Dina is the kind of competitor you want in the midfield. You want someone as relentless as him moving forward and tracking back. He can help build up the attack and he tracks back well in defense. He is fearless and is the heart of the team. He will be playing for Concordia next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='8611' first='Rylan' last='Firouznam'], Servite, Senior, Outside Defender

Firouznam is a speedy outside back who is very versatile. He can sit in as a back four defender, or be a speedy winger in a 3-5-2. He gets up the side very quickly, is good with the ball at his feet, good at making crosses and attacking the area. He's also a good 1v1 defender and steps to the ball well.

Jahir Gonzalez-Sandoval, Servite, Senior, Attacking Midfielder

Gonzalez-Sandoval is a very exciting attacking midfielder. He moves with pace and with ease when on the attack. He is very good at distributing the ball and then continuing his run into a pocket of space. He has a very lethal shot and is very good at delivering corner kicks.

[player_tooltip player_id='7496' first='Dylan' last='Graham'], Servite, Senior, Striker

Graham has incredible work ethic and his willingness to give his all is what makes him a great player. He is a team first player, who seeks to accomplish the team goal before his own goals. He is incredibly resilient, he is very disciplined and is truly an out-and-out goal scorer. He's very strong when he attacks goal, wins 1v1 battles and can score with his head or feet.

Photo: JSerra Catholic

[player_tooltip player_id='41549' first='Reagan' last='Heslin'], JSerra Catholic, Senior, Striker

Heslin is what people would describe as a beast. He is a game-changing striker who can turn a match around quickly. He also has incredible work ethic.

Joe Moyer, Servite, Junior, Midfielder

Moyer is a player who can play in the midfield, but also as a forward as he did at the SoCal College Showcase in filling in for Graham. He's a guy who finishes incredibly well, makes excellently-timed runs and plays with speed and passion.

Luke Newman, Santa Margarita Catholic, Senior, Forward

Newman is a Colgate University commit and for good reason. He has outstanding technical skill, he is very athletic and absolutely tenacious. He is a legitimate two-footed player, making him dangerous to score from any angle. He's also a high character player and a leader on the team.

Ayden Santana, Orange Lutheran, Sophomore, Keeper

Santana is an exceptional keeper. He was a starter for the Lancers as a freshman and has been excellent so far this season. He made a great penalty stop to keep his team in the match against Godinez in the Huntington Beach Tournament final. He has 35 saves and three clean sheets.

Hayden Snyder, Orange Lutheran, Senior, Forward

Snyder is a versatile player who can play on the wing and on the midfield. He is a very dynamic player who can score and who can distribute. He is committed to Point Loma Nazarene.

The Trinity League may be the toughest league in California. Three of the seven teams in the league are ranked in the top 20 in the State of California in Servite, JSerra Catholic and Orange Lutheran, and the Friars and Lions are ranked as the top two teams in California.
