Springfield Township came up short in the 3A state final against Hershey but they were still very impressive in how they played the match. Martin was a focal point of the attack in his ability to hold up play, distribute the ball and create for himself. His return with some of other younger players on the team benefiting from the big game experience could see another deep run next fall.
Ramirez had a breakout junior season on a Conestoga team that graduated a ton of its offensive firepower from the undefeated state title team. Though they didn’t reach the heights of that team, Ramirez and company will absolutely be back in contention again after a season that was still impressive in its own right.
