After hyping up the 2025 and 2026 goalkeeper classes in Illinois, there is some trepidation about putting a 2027 at the top of the list, but Galt and another player are two of the brightest talents at the position in the country for this class. Galt is the best futsal goalkeeper that we’ve seen on the soccer field. She is almost like a sweeper-keeper with her futsal skills on display. The shot-stopper has been identified by US Soccer as a top player in the position and called into three Youth National Team Talent ID events. Her play at the ODP level has been outstanding this season so it’s easy to see why so many scouts are buzzing about Galt.
Highlights
It’s hard to watch an FC United 08 game and not remark on Randall. She is the attacking midfielder of the team, and she does it exceptionally well. She pulls the strings in the attack. She hits the free kicks. And she is likely going to score the goals. Her ball-striking technique is already among the best while playing up an age group. She is a top talent for this class.
rnThe other top prospect from FC United. Fowler has been described by scouts as a goalkeeper who has the mentality to make it to the professional level. She has the work ethic and determination. She shows up in the biggest moments for her team and is highly rated by top coaches in the region.

Defender. I’ve seen Rucka play a few positions – outside back and center back. And I’ve also seen what she can do in the attacking third. She is a versatile player who may still be searching for her best spot. She’s been impressive in every role I’ve seen her play. She probably projects best as an outside back. She has the pace to get up and down the touch line and also the boot to whip in a good service. She also has a knack for getting on the end of crosses as well.
