Here's a quick, short list of some notable standouts to begin the girls soccer season in Wisconsin.

F [player_tooltip player_id='28469' first='Anna' last='Sikorski'], Muskego, Jr: Starting off a new high school season right where she ended it. Sikorski notched four goals against state-ranked Waunakee and has five in two games. She recently committed to Kentucky. Muskego is the team to beat in Division 1.

M/F [player_tooltip player_id='28506' first='Emily' last='McCarthy'], Kimberly, Jr: An all-state selection as a sophomore, McCarthy has Kimberly on a hot 4-0 start to the season. In four games, she had 7 goals and 4 assists. Kimberly is currently ranked second behind Muskego in Division 1.

F Amelia Schuh, De Pere, Jr: Schuh got off to a blazing start against Seymour with three goals in the first half and an assist to win 6-0. Her third goal of that game was quite impressive with a banger from 25 yards out that curled into the opposite corner. She then scored the lone goal of the match to beat Appleton East 1-0.

GK [player_tooltip player_id='28533' first='Riley' last='Franklin'], Whitefish Bay, Sr: The Baylor commit is arguably the best keeper in Wisconsin. She has Whitefish Bay off to a hot 3-1 start and had a 0.28 goals against average. Conceding one goal on 19 saves.

F [player_tooltip player_id='28470' first='Camryn' last='Ries'], Waukesha West, Sr: UIC Signee. Ries has 12 goals and six assists to begin the season. This includes scoring seven in a two-game stretch. She's a player who plays with lots of speed and never loses confidence. Surely a name to watch on a team looking to make noise this spring.

D Megan Thomsen, Waukesha West, So: Another emerging name to watch for Waukesha west. Thomsen is a strong outside back but is capable of playing in the midfield too. She does well at initiating counterattacks and making long runs up and down the field. Has a goal and two assists on the young season so far.

F Alexa Pettit, Union Grove, Sr: The 5'7" forward leads Division 1 in points so far with 19. Notable performances include a four-goal outing against Racine Case and scoring three goals with two assists against Kenosha Indian Trail. Union Grove has three dominating wins to begin the year, much thanks to Pettit

Mabel Cielpluch, Milwaukee King, Jr: Cielpluch leads D1 with eight assists on the young season to go along with four goals. Seven of those assists came against Milwaukee Carmen in a 10-0 rout. A name to watch in the midfield.
